Great American Clean-Up!
May 5th, 2018
Great American Cleanup: Waters is partnering with Keep North Attleborough Beautiful on the Great American Cleanup on Saturday May 5th from 9 am - noon. Each year at the beginning of Spring, individuals and organizations in cities and towns across the nation work together to clean up litter and beautify God's creation. This is a great opportunity for us to reach outside our walls and tangibly show the love of Christ in service to our community, as an individual, a family, or even as a small group. Children who are old enough to want to participate are welcome, and you don't even need to live in North Attleboro to participate!
What We Need You To Do: Talk to your Small Group about the event and register on behalf of anyone in your Small Group who'd like to participate. You'll want to get a count of the number of people who'll likely take part, including any children, along with t-shirt sizes (large or XL are the only options).
When Do I Need To Register By?: Registration will be closed on April 25th, to give us time to get the supplies and t-shirts from KNAB before the event.
Where & When Does It Take Place?: We'll meet at our North Attleboro Campus at 8:45am in the lower parking lot (for other campuses, please see your campus pastors for any Cleanup events in your community).
What Should I Bring?: A good attitude :) No really, that's it! KNAB will supply trash bags, t-shirts, and gloves, which we'll hand them out that morning. However, if you have a favorite pair of gardening or work gloves, feel free to bring them!
What else should I know? If you like free pizza (and who doesn't?), there will be a pizza party celebration open to anyone taking part at 12:00pm at North Attleboro High School.
